CSS Issue - Help Please
Hi All,

I'm trying to change the format of my website www.placesihavebeen.com
to a cleaner look at www.placesihavebeen.com/test

I've changed something in test/style.css and it seems to have screwed
up the positioning of my main box. I can't work out for the life of me
what's gone wrong and I'm hoping someone will be able to put me
straight.

On the test site the main big image now overlaps the grey box
underneath it, so that the top of the box now follows on straight
under the drop-downs on the right, rather than under the image. Why???

Any assistance gratefully accepted.

Regards,
Tim.

When you refer to the 'main big image' are you talking about the guy in the
shades, because the sea is fine today; IE7 & FF3

If you do mean bloke in shades, where is he supposed to be?

If you don't want the grey area to run under the menu on the right the can't
you just set it a width?

Thanks for your response. I had meant to write back and say that I'd
sorted it, sorry.

I was referring to the 'banner' image with the drop-down lists beside
it. I'd changed the CSS for the <ul> that contains the drop-downs to
be right aligned rather than left and it screwed things up a bit. I
was pulling my hair out and couldn't see where I'd gone wrong.

Thanks anyway,

Tim.

Have you fixed it? It looks OK to me - in Firefox 2.0.0.17 there's a
white space about 10 pixels deep between the pic and the grey box.
