Anti spam image code (coloured)
Anti spam image code - colour coded to the text entry box .

www.jpgimage.co.uk/full.php?image=1221

Currently working on and re-writing a guestbook , Got the idea to colour
code the image to the text entry box .

Do you think it has a good or bad effect ? .

The 2nd page of the sign guestbook option .

It gives the user the chance to add/edit the text they have just typed
in and submitted - and it also shows what the guestbook entry will look
like once its been vetted and approved by the webmaster .

The 3rd sign guestbook page will be the option to pick a avatar .

Do you mean the border around the image code matching the text entry? Unless
you'd pointed it out IMHO I don't think you would notice the 'colour code'
(it's not accurate* anyway), but I wouldn't say it is bad, as it does at
least make the text box prominent.

Paste a screen dump to your preferred image editing software and use a
colour detection tool to get the hexadecimal.

Sounds like the BBC- a bunch of jobsworths.
