Little script bug - IE only
Okay;
I've got a WYSIWYG programmed JS menu, and a ready-written search script,
that I've been happy with for many months.
Now, I tried the search option which highlights all, & drops you to the
first resulting word in the page. Now IE seems to forget to open the menu
script when jumping to the words.
I am waiting for an answer from support and trying to get hold of my C+ Java
friend, but this is pi$$ing me off and Ben's not picking up. Any ideas?
(Save the lecture about not using scripted menus, there's basic static
hidden underneath.)

It might help if you either post the page URL or the relevant
script... Not sure if peoples mind reading works too well via the nntp
protocol... :~)

I had disabled the scripts online as I have a couple of interested clients,
but I've put it on just one page now for the afternoon.
Do a search for 'domains' from
http://www.websitefoundry.co.uk/search/search.php
I've kept a second script in the head which stops both static & JS menu from
displaying. This is also buggered so you get neither.
I am not expecting people to go sifting through every line of script, I am
wondering if anybody has come across something similar- IE not loading a
page's script when coming from a search.

Don't go studying it, I got hold of my man and he's happy to check it over.
I'll have to go buy him a bottle of nice wine but that's the way we work.

Well Ben can't find a problem anywhere in the scripting, it's just a IE
browser bug, struggling with two scripts. Unfortunately he works with
mainframes and intranet servers, not IE & FFx, so I am going to rephrase and
repost to a JS group later.
