site (page) critiques please. Keyboard to play.
http://www.websitefoundry.co.uk/multimedia.html

Single 'template' page, entire contents not written but enough to judge.
There's a keyboard to play if you're bored- own work.

Save the sarcasm Krusty, keep it constructive.

Even forrest gump could figure out a change colour scheme would improve
the look of the page quite a bit .

Toyed with 5 or 6 schemes so far, I'm not finished yet- I'm like that due to
LSD abuse in my teens.

When I was sketching the page on photoshop I was loving the gradient behind
the text but reading over it heavily after only 2 cans I'm finding it very
hard on the eye so I'm scrapping that idea.

I just like testing these things, I've never been known for settling for the
norm in any area.

I'm also used to having the piss taken out of me for that as a kid (you
remind me of it at 29) so it's jizz of a hookers lips buddy.

Light-on-black is especially unreadable in the smaller sizes of sans-
serif fonts - though not as much so as blue-on-black.

AFAICH, the keyboard does nothing. You seem to have omitted "turn on
the speaker(s) <g>.

Yes, I got the size right on crackguitar but this one isn't good so far and
it will be changing. Got a pro graphic designer I know involved in the
contract team so I should be able to get him on the case :)

I'm not aware of the meaning of this <g> but are you having a laugh? It's a
multimedia page for musicians interested in getting their music online
outside of myspace etc, I think you'll find musicians know that sound
requires speakers.

I've made some changes to the graphics and blown up the font a bit so it
should be much easier to read.
I am still keen on green as I have got a circuit board theme going on. Time
will tell.

Hay Del.
I just had another look at the site and I don't mind the green and
brown look although I would have gone for a little more green. It's a
bit too brown.
Oh and if you set the body font-size at 100% you should have no
probolems with readability.

Hmm, the green-brown would actually depend on screen width as it grades off
to orangey-brown on the right. I sized it to be 50/50 at 1280W but I think
you're right.

I must disagree with the 100% font though, looks patronisingly big.

Any opinions on the microchip page titles?

Make sure you have your browser font size set at medium which most
people will be useing. If it still looks a bit large then you could
make it say 90% but I would not go any smaller then 80% for body font
size as it would get too small.

> Any opinions on the microchip page titles?-
The titles seam good.

They've been 85% since Dr Stockton's comments. At 90 the body character size
is identical but IE gives a sudden line-height split, not FF.

Thanks, concerned 'inventiveness' may have crossed the line. Where's the
Grange Hill rude boi when you need him?
