  There seem to have been issues with Be lines today.
  There have been some brief blips on some lines.
  A small number of lines have also gained 100ms latency suddenly.

  This is due to outages across the core, which are in turn due to Global Crossing, who are carrying out what they claim is planned maintenance. It's resulting in periods of slow speeds, packet loss and high latency in some areas. We've also seen some exchanges flap.
  
  Global Crossing have said the work will be completed by 7pm tonight.
  
  Update: Many more lines are now showing latency and loss.
  Update: 14:40 looking a lot better now.
