[Planned] At Risk, BGP work Sunday 25th
Posted at 2009-10-18 10:02 BST by RevK
Update #0: 2009-10-18 10:05 BST

We have been gradually working through major changes in BGP in our core
network in London. This is part of the changes because of the new 21CN
links to BT we now have, and shutting down racks in one of the data
centres where the old links used to come in.

The changes are to move all the connectivity over to new routers in the
new data centre.

The operation has not been entirely seamless ad we do apologise for
this. The final setup will be much simpler than it is now and we are
taking it one step at a time.

We plan to do more work on Sunday 25th. This should be the last stage.
We'll try not to break anything, but there is (as you have seen) always
some risk in this.[IMAGE]
