Mail disappeared
The contents of my IMAP mailbox seem to have completely disappeared
overnight, and all I've got in my inbox is a whole bunch of "About the
[learnspam|learnham|spam] folder" and "Welcome to your new Mailbox"
messages.
Trying Squirrelmail, I get the following:
ERROR
Error opening ../data/default_pref
Could not create initial preference file!
/mail/data/ should be writable by user apache
Please contact your system administrator and report this error.
Has anyone else lost mail ? I've dropped support@ a line as well.

Yes, and I'm getting loads 'New mail folder' messages, multiple times for
all mailboxes.
I've mailed support, but it's early yet,and IRC is quiet.

I've just seen Adrian's posts about the power outages - and the missing
e-mails have now re-appeared in my mailbox.
