Tertiary-mx.co.uk Changing Over Today

We are in the process of final testing and moving over to the new
tertiary-mx.co.uk mail server. More details about this server can be
seen on a previous status page post:

The old tertiary-mx.co.uk (81.187.105.112) will stay online until it's
processed it's queue of email, it'll then get recycled in to another
spam checking server!
As a side note:
For anti-spam reasons we'd suggest that if customers want to use
tertiary-mx.co.uk that they set up their mx records so that the last mx
record also points to the primary server. (spam bots tend to try a
lower priority MX record.) For example, if your domain is
testing.me.uk, the MX records would look something like this:
MX10 mail.testing.me.uk
MX20 tertiary-mx.co.uk
MX30 mail.testing.me.uk
(Where mail.testing.me.uk then points to your local mail server)
This way spam bots are a bit more likely to target the primary server
than tertiary-mx.co.uk, and therefore give your server more control
over spam checking/rejecting etc...
