BTnet vs Telewest for 2M leased line
BTnet have a special offer on till the end of March - free install with
their BTnet Premium product with a 1 year contract.

I'd contacted Telewest for a quote some weeks ago. They rang back
recently to offer free install on a 2 year term but when I told them BT
were offering this on a one year contract they managed to match the BT
free install and quoted 15% less than the BTnet annual rental price.

My gut feeling is to stick to BT:

a. The cable companies have a dire record in terms of customer support
for home users at least.
b. Telewest would use a BT tail circuit - at least with BT it would be
their network from start to finish.
c. We host a web site used by a small number of SMEs (100 or so). A
good percentage, I expect, will have a BT ADSL line. If we have a BT
connection, presumably the connection speed will be better for them.

Anyone here had any experience of Telewest's leased line offerings?
