PHP/MySQL Webhosting
Hi
I am looking for recommendations for reliable shared hosting with PHP 4.4.1
and MySQL 4.0.26 (or above), in UK. I had donhost in mind but they don't
offer MySQL above 3.0 on shared. Any other options?
Many Thanks

Yes, they're good - I use them for PHP/MySQL. The SQL server can
occasionally be slow, but not often. I can't tell you without looking
it up exactly which versions they use, but I'm sure you'll find the
information at www.gradwell.com.

Been with www.hostme.co.uk for 5+ years and now have a reseller account with
them. I see that their PHP version is 4.4.0 and their MySQL version is
4.1.13-standard. Their server is located in the UK.

PHP appears to be 4.3.9 which could be an issue if you need 4.4.1. I'm
still using the MySQL V3 database but I know there's a V4 up and running
as well. One day I will migrate (probably in the week before Peter tells
us that the V3 is going to be discontinued, whenever that may be).

How long have you used them? How is the support like? What versions of
PHP/MySQL are they using?

If I don't like it, can I cancel it at any time? What sort of refund I can

You shouldn't rely on other people for answers to this sort of thing -
it's essential to read Terms and Conditions for yourself, whichever
provider you choose.
And please don't top-post!
