More Problems with Telivo
Problems with Telivo Again!
I Posted a message before (July 2007) to see if others had had
problems
with Telivo, and also to let people know what Telivo are like.
Guess what I'm having the same problems again with them. I sent some
test
emails yesterday and today (sent about 11:00) and they are not being
forwarded by the email forwarding service. At the moment its 13:30
and there
is no sign of the emails in the yahoo email account I forward them to.
Telivo say the problem is not the same as last time but its having the
same effect on me as a customer.
Last time the mail forwarding service was having problems for at least
1 week, and now about 4 months later its been having problems for at
least 3 days. If like last time it goes on for about a week that will
be 2 weeks in 18 that the service is not working properly, i.e.
without problems. That means this service only works without problems
for less than 90% of the time. I'll leave the readers of this post to
judge for themselves how good or bad that is.
I spoke again to Telivo about this, and as said before, they said its
a different problem from before. The conversation with one of the
staff and his boss left me with the distinct impression that they are
not concerened about the problem. I did suggest to the senior member
of staff I spoke to that he make the Managing Director aware of the
poor performance and asked that he let me have Telivo's comments on
the matter. His response is show below:
Dear Sir,
Thank you for your comments about our free forwarding
service. We would like to assure you that we are doing
everything possible to have the service back up and running
correctly as soon as possible. We are also making
alterations and upgrades to the service to ensure this issue
doesn't reoccur.
We apologise for any inconvenience and would like to thank
you for your patients while we resolve this issue for you.

Telivo
They did suggest I upgraded to their hosted email service at £15.00 a
year, but the product does not appear competative to me, and the
mailbox is only 50 Meg, which is nothing these days. I did consider
this, but the impression I get from Telivo when there is a problem is
that they are not concerned about it, so I decided against that idea.
I'm also reluctant to pay for a service with a company that appears to
condsider services that are fault free less than 90% of the time
reasonable. It does make me wonder what figure Telivo would consider
unacceptable.
I would have replied to the message posted before but that does not
seem to
be allowed from Google groups.
