Had the moderation system failed?  I see the last two posts with IDs of
32751 and 32752 took over 4m to auto-post, which is remarkably slow, and
then neither seems to have arrived on any news servers.

I wouldn't say broken

Perhaps, intermittent?

I'll have a check on Saturday as one of mine seems to have gone missing 
too.
