I imagine he did, otherwise he wouldn't have used it as a (possible) slur.

OK, I *care*, being an Aspie who spends as much time as possible trying to
relate with the NT world and (mostly) failing.

If it's any help, I suppose I fit the NT description and I've
given up trying to relate to most of the world, or at least the
humans. 90% of human beings are clinically insane and the
remaining 10% sane ones are raving nutters.

Except me. I have official documentation which states that I'm
sane. (Which proves only that the people who signed them were more
nuts than me.)

The only successful survival technique is not to take most of it
seriously.

I think what was going on was that he was trying to imply that I was
not a Neurotypical and divided the world into Not-Neurotypicals and
Neurotypicals. Could be wrong, though.

I'm as Neurotypical as they come, tho'

I think you'll find I had absolutely NO intention of using it as any
kind of 'slur'. I simply recognised a certain indicator or two that I
'recognised' and thought may explain why some discussions were going a
certain way. If anything, my mentioning it was more of an anti-slur.

And FWIW, my personal feeling is that NTs may simply be on the very
extreme end (so called 'High functioning') of a very broad and complex
spectrum. This is a more inclusive philosophy and intended to make
understanding the 'typical' part easier.

Absobloodylutely. It is occasionally the case though that this is
something, like riding a bike, or playing the guitar, that has to be
'learned'. Once learned however, will serve one very well for the
rest of whatever value can be applied to 'life'.

I thought you meant the NT Myers-Briggs type, which would normally
work quite well with aspies, I'd have thought.
