Lament ...
I wish it was Apr 1st, because there are so many RFD's I'd like to propose
right now.
Can the committee please engage their power and make it so, thanks.
(Also, I hate Christmas[1] so skipping that would be cool, although I quite
like Guy Fawkes Night so maybe you could have that moved to say, Apr 2nd?)
[1] I don't really hate it, this is a joke[2]
[2] for the readers with no[3] sense of humour
[3] although technically, it's likely they do have some sense of humour,
most people do, but that it doesn't match mine, or maybe the general style
of unn.*'s humour

Done.

No, sorry. I want my prezzies. And my vile consumerist gluttony.

Not until after Thursday. I'm all geared up; today I even made my
Bonfire Stew.

Doesn't count.

I don't speak for the Committee. If I ever do, it will be made
specifically clear.
My Reply-To address *is* valid, though may not be so for ever.

It has taken me years to come up with a reason for not liking you,
Molly.

It's ok. If today is April 1st, tomorrow is April 2nd, and Bonfire Night.
No need to wait until Thursday.
But we do need to fast-forward to December on Wednesday.

Why do you need a reason? Just go with your instincts.

Hang on, hang on - somewhere in there, I need the 19th of November.
(Although, given something I just said in uk.music.folk, maybe that's
safest postponed for seven or eight months...)
