Okay, so the people in question should start by doing something, but
joining the committee isn't going to help. The committee has no power in
the uk.* hierarchy to elicit change on their own.
They can facilitate change initiated by the people who use the hierarchy,
but they can't start it as an entity. As individuals yes, but then, so can
we, so can the four people standing. But they chose not to, they chose
instead to try and join the committee. It's a false gesture.
