That's because you're connecting from a dynamic IP address on a cable
connection. It will work fine if you use your ISP's outbound mail
servers.

If Tim needs more information on this I suggest he talks to, I think his
name was Ian Jackson, he had if I recall, some strong opinions about using
dynamic IP addresses to send e-mail.
