Looks like they've set it up now.

On Monday at 14:20 I sent my own email to moderators-request@isc
enquiring about the status of the new alias. At 16:59 I got a reply
from oine of the NAN team saying that the email from Control had not
arrived. Following further discussions, at 19:12 Control resent the
request (with the wrong alias).

On Tuesday at 17:33 there had been no response so I chased again. My
chase revealed problems with the isc.org mail system; I contacted the
NAN team member (who'd responded before) at their personal address.
As a result at 20:13 that NAN team member created the alias, causing
us to get an auto-ack.

On Tuesday at 20:54 I sent a test posting. This bounced from
usenet.org.uk due to the alias target having been wrongly specified
(see above). Therefore at 21:02 I sent an email to Control pointing
out that the alias target was wrong; I asked Control to create the
alias which had been specified in the mail to isc.org (given that
having to email isc.org again to change it might take a while since
their mail is broken).

I get emails from Control At 21:49 on Tuesday and at 15:01 and 15:08
on Wednesday but neither of these seem to acknowledge or take into
account my email pointing out that the alias was wrong. So at 15:26
I sent another email to Control pointing this out again.

On Wednesday at 19:13 I get an email from Control which acknowledges
that the alias is wrong but gives the impression that they spotted
this themselves (because the mail it quotes is not one of mine, but
rather the ack from the NAN team). At 19:25 Control replies to my
question "did you see my mail from 9pm last night" with "no". [1]
Control also tells me that they have created the other alias.

On Thursday at 11:26 I emailed Control to say that I had tested the
new alias and asking them to please create the group straight away.
This message was acknowledged by Control at 12:29 but I haven't heard
anything since.

[1] What happened to the email which Control said they didn't see ?

You didn't post from a hotmail or live account did you?

I understand some systems do not work correctly and just bin them?

It does seem rather silly and petty to me - still it might just be
worth asking
