Moderator Impartiality: uk.legal.moderated
I realise that there can be a fine line between a posting being approved
and not approved dpending on its content but please can I ask the
moderators of uk.legal.moderated to try to remain even-handed and impartial
when reviewing postings.

In the recent thread about the legal implications of not wearing a cycle
helmet, there have been a number of postings containg material not related
to the legal issues but which have been addressing the practical aspects of
helmet wearing and why it is good or bad depending which side you are on in
the debate.

Some of these articles have been rightly rejected (including a couple of
mine) while other articles, which have been nothing more than essays
justifying why helmets are not good for safety and with no or little
reference to the legal implications, have managed to pass moderation.

I therefore believe that the moderators have not acted impartially.

LOL! You're in most of the killfiles on urc, so I don't think your
definition of "impartial" will necessarily match anyone else's.

i've no idea about the merits or otherwise of your post, seeing as I've
got better things to do with my time than read threads on cycle helmets.

but this isn't the right group. uk.net.news.moderation is there
precisely for this sort of things

Thanks, I will re-direct my concerns to that group. Apologies for posting
to the wrong group,
