I'm a bit surprised at how TomC has argued too. I could meet him
tomorrow at school. I don't think he or I would feel uncomfortable.
It is for TomC to say, of course, but I think he is going back to the
nature of group creation in uk.* and there is not a lot he can do about
that. Sorry, TomC, that *is* the way uk.* works and as I and others
have said ... it is about the best on the planet as models go.

I haven't been paying attention to urc for years but can see
inflammatory issues.

unnc has cultural references too. biscuits, helichopters, blue things
and kangaroos, occasionally. and dogs, but they are usually in
uk.rec.christian :0

I think that would be a very good start. We've heard this before ...
but that would be in prep for the group existing. I hope it will
shortly.
