The thing about many web authoring newsgroups is that its mostly geeks 
who use them - and as much they are more interested if a website 
validates or not rather than the actual web design or the general layout 
of a website .

Understandable of course as most geeks arnt really very good at web 
design and as such they cant really talk about or discuss the subject .

uk.net.web.design   would give like minded users a place to gather and 
to discuss web design stuff without the bible thumping validator geeks 
trying to interupt things .
