I have got a recent Thomson Skydigibox which works well on its own.

When connected to my Philips Digital Video Recorder the picture coming
from the Digibox becomes strangely coloured and distorted. I have
checked the DVR. It works perfectly well with cable and other satellite
 receivers. It seems to me that the problem is one of compatibility.

The units are connected up with the usual SCART leads - which I have
changed to make sure that was not where the problem was.

I am also getting the problem on all broadcasts including non copy
protected broadcasts so I don't think that is the problem either unless
somehow the copy protect gets stuck.

Can anyone help by suggesting what may be wrong and what remedial
action I could take ?
