Reducing TiVo RF emissions
Does anyone have any tips on reducing RF emissions from TiVo?
I have a series 1 Thomson Scenium, with an upgraded 160Gb disk, and a
network card.
When within 1/2 feet of my freeview box/amplifier combo, it interferes so
completely that the picture is unwatchable or absent altogether.
I may have to go down the "2 long scart cables" route, but before giving
in, is there anything relatively simple I can do to reduce emissions?

1. Make sure TiVo's internal UHF modulator is set to a channel well away
from freeview broadcasting.

2. (best) Move the amplifier nearer to your aerial, preferably up in the
loft. May be better to renew aerial and cable (CT100) while at it.
3. If not able to do 2, make sure cables connected to the input of the
amplifier are very well screened, and do not run parallel to other cables.

Thanks Adrian.
In the event (3) proved sufficient, along with a bit of rearrangement of
boxes. When TiVo integrates the data for a daily call, there's some
*small* evidence of interference, but otherwise it's perfect.
