Humax 9200T fault
Anyone come across this fault with a 9200T please?
When I go into the recorded programmes menu nothing shows up, even
though I know there are programmes there. The hard drive capacity
indicator confirms that the drive is only 85% or so free.
Turning off and on doesn't help - still no recorded programmes list.

I haven't seen this yet, and I hope I don't. However, I would try and
connect a PC to the Humax and retrieve those programs I want to watch/keep
before formatting the Humax hard drive. I would guess that the data on your
Humax's hard drive has become corrupted.

Unfortunately it is a lnown bug whose cause is not yet certain, though
at least it is rare. Some kind of directory corruption, and there
doesn't seem to be a way round it once it happens.
Best advice on prevention is not to put the machine in standby directly
from the menu. Always exit the menu first, and only then go to standby.

Re: Humax 9200T fault
Thanks for the help - appreciated. If I reformat, presumably the
wretched thing will work normally again, but does anyone know if
there's an increased risk of the fault recurring now that it's happened
once? Thanks again.
