NTL's Samsung SMT 2100C
Hi,
a friend gave me a Samsung set top box with NTL card. I don't know
anything about NTL services, but when I got home I connected it to an
antenna and I put it on.
The only thing I see is a NTL logo in the middle, but the device looks
frozen, it doesn't react to buttons nor to remote control actions,
even if the RC works, a red led shows when i press its buttons.
What did I do wrong? Is the device damaged? Where can I find a user's
manual? Do I need to plug in some coax cable or an ethernet cable to
see something happening?
Please, help this poor ignorant,

Err don't you need an NTL cable to use this? NTL doesn't do antennas,
they're only cable broadband AFAIK.
