Capturing video from xbox 360
I currently have a usb video capture device - it captures through composite
cables from the xbox but there's a problem with it when a game is PAL-60 -
it displays it in black and white and a bit fuzzy - it will only do PAL-50.
What's the best thing to use to capture straight from the xbox in PAL-60
mode? Will a DVD recorder do it or maybe a different usb capture device?

Why not just capture in PAL-50?

To play it back on a UK TV, 50Hz is better, and if you are playing it
back on a PC the refresh is very unlikely to be an exact multiple of 50
OR 60Hz so all 50Hz means is that it has a few less frames to
interpolate from.

If you're worried about getting the ultimate quality out of it then why
are you using a composite cable instead of S-Video?

Certain games require PAL-60 mode to run. I've tried s-video in and
composite-in and various vid software packages - all black and white?
