The contenders
Right so we all want 2 tuners, series link and reliabilty, not to wait
forever for EPG loading and not too noisy a fan.
so..
Humax (best seller) or Topfield (most versatile?)
Tivo (1 tuner and out of production )is surely not a contender as I think
that soon the others (humax at least)will have series link software upgrades
and TIVo will have lost any advantage with Some sort of new PVR "freeview"
status whatever that is.
I can't decide but I WILL ditch Sky+ soon. !!!
help?

I wouldn't buy a machine based on what it might have in the way of
firmware upgrades in the future, especially when it comes to Humax.
They never fixed the major bugs in the 8000T, and what was worse, the
9200T had a lot of the same ones (some have now been fixed I believe).
The Toppy with MyStuff fits your needs much closer now.
