Anyone seen a freeview pvr yet that records series link like the supreme

The BBC are now transmitting series link data for BBC channels on Freeview's
EPG, they have been since about Dec 2006

As far as I know, the only PVRs that can read this data are Sony's 560 and 860
DVD/HDD recorders ?

Is there a specification available which describes how this data is
included in the SI tables?

I don't know if it's freely available, but some of the guys on the
Toppy forums have worked out the format for the BBC; there seem to be
some slight differences in the data on other channels.

There are two CRID bits of information in the EIT data, as far as I
can recall; one denotes the series and one the episode. For some
things, like Neighbours, there are two series ids - one for each
showing - but they share the episode IDs. A search on the forums
should find out what people have pieced together.

As for current machines:

Humax and Topfield have both said they'll add support for series link.

In the meantime, the Humax lets you search by keywords but you can't
save searches to have timers set automatically.

On the Toppy, you can do that with a TAP, and there's also a pair of
TAPs that work together to use the broadcast CRID information for
series link.

The Thomson TopUpTV Anytime PVR has series link, but it doesn't use
the standard broadcast EIT info; instead it uses information from the
InView EPG that it downloads each night.
