Thomson DHD 4000 PVR overheating
I bought 2 of these brand new recently and 1 of them just freezes usually
with 5 minutes of turning it on.
However if I remove the casing it seems to play fine so I'm guessing an
overheating problem.
But the strange thing is, the unit is barely warm to touch with the casing
on and when I remove it and hover my hand above the warm part (the psu and
circuit board) there is virtually no heat at all.

The casing of the unit that works is extremely hot to touch yet it hasn't
given me any problems!!

I'm loathed to return the unit to where I bought it from as they have no
more left.

Any suggestions.
