I've had the Humax for a year or two and I'm pretty happy with it, apart 
from a few annoyances (such as remembering the position in only a single 
part played recording).

I suspect that I am not getting all the multiplexes. In particular I 
have had problems with some of the higher numbered channels.

Recently the box has not been picking up the program guide for the BBC 
channels, even though I have taken care to set it to BBC1 or BBC2 and 
leave it overnight. Strangely the ITV and E4 program guide is OK 
(although I don't know how far forward it goes). Needless to say I've 
not had this problem previously.

I've also recently had a problem with BBC News 24 and Sky News. If I 
select BBC News 24 the picture appears as expected, but as soon as the 
interative red dot appears, the picture disappears. If I press a button 
to bring up a menu before the red dot appears, the channel continues as 
normal. Sky News has a similar problem, except it magically changes to 
Sky Sports News (???) when the dot appears.

I have no idea whether the two problems are related, and whether it 
might be caused by not having some of the multiplexes?

Any ideas?
