Channel 5 Subtitles
When I record or live pause channel 5 I lose the subtitles.
They are ok otherwise.
I've tried resetting the box a few times but this hasn't helped.
All other channels are ok except E4s are out of synch sometimes.
Any ideas
Cheers

Sounds like the subtitles are on a different stream to the one
that's being recorded. I don't know if that's even possible.
Any Amstrad users there? I don't have Sky+ myself.

I emailed Sky and this is their reply.
Thank you for your email concerning the problems you are experiencing
with the recording feature on Sky+.
Firstly, please accept my apology for any inconvenience this has
caused.
I can confirm that we do have some customers that are experiencing
problems with their Sky+ recording feature. At the moment we do not
have a specific time when this issue will be fixed but the procedure
below should resolve the live pause problem temporarily.
1. Switch your Digibox to standby.
2. Unplug the Digibox from the mains then immediately plug it back in.
3. The on/off light will be constant RED. However, it may flash on/off
on some models.
4. Leave the Digibox on standby for at least one minute without
touching any buttons.
5. After one minute, take the Digibox off standby and follow on screen
displays.
Should you require further assistance please do not hesitate to
contact us at the above email address. Alternatively you can contact
our Technical Team directly on 08702 435 000, where an advisor would
be able to assist further.
Yours sincerely

Did it work?
