I've just bought a Panasonic TV model number TX-37LZD70 hooked it up to the 
Sky+ system. It works great apart from now not being able to adjust the TV 
sound volume using the Sky remote.

I've followed the instructions on the Sky site but have no joy in getting 
the red light to flash twice etc or enter the TV code (which isn't listed 
on the sky site but I'm intending to use 0678 which seems to be the 
Panasonic generic)

Is there something I'm missing on resetting the Sky remote? i.e when I 
press the TV button followed by the red button the box is supposed to flash 
twice but doesn't.

Any help appreciated.

Yes there is.

That should be the TV button followed by the Select button and the red
button together.

After selecting TV, hold down SELECT and the RED buttons together for
approximately two seconds until the RED LED on the Sky remote blinks
twice.
