The bird's moved the telly
The bird's moved the telly and won't put it back, insists it's staying
put.
No biggie, except the SKY aerial lead isn't long enough. Again no
biggie methought, I'll Google the bugger and read up and buy the right
type of cable and F connectors and extend it and Bob's your mother's
brother. Turns out he isn't.
I followed the guidance here http://www.satcure.co.uk/tech/fconn.htm.
Got myself what I was assured was the right cable and F connectors for
the job, everything seems to fit perfectly, but not the proverbial
sausage will appear.
Pointeth me in the right direction brothers, for I am a practical
illiterate in such matters and am clearly cocking, as they say, up.
Grassy arse to y'all what can be bothered.

Take the plugs off and put them on again.
Either the copper braid is not making contact
with the shell of the connector(s) or a strand of braid is touching
the inner conductor
