ITV Digital Text not working via sky
I've been having this problem for a few days now. I looks as if it's loading
then just goes back to the normal tv picture. Is there anyone else having
this or is it an update issue?
Any advice would be appreciated or direct me to where I need to post for
some help.
Cheers Dave

ITV via Sky digibox for the Tyne Tees region in the UK. Or to put it another
way, channel 103 on the sky digibox.

whenever i watch itv teletext ( central ) via my sky hd box, the advert in
the bottom left hand side is too wide, stretching across the text on the
right hand side of the screen.

Apparently that still leaves a choice of two services/transponders :-
[from www.lyngsat.com]
10714 H 22000-5/6
ITV 2 +1
ITV 1 Anglia South
ITV 1 Anglia West
ITV 1 Tyne Tees North
10891 H 22000-5/6
ITV 1 Border Scotland
ITV 1 Tyne Tees South
ITV 1 Meridian South
ITV 1 Meridian South East
ITV 1 Anglia South
ITV 1 Yorkshire West
ITV 2 +1
Re-booting the box (switch off, wait half a minute, switch on again)
cures a great deal of incorrect working. Occasionally a re-install
(via Services>4>01>Enter with the telephone line plugged in) is
needed. There are IME some occasions when the "red button" services
will fail and kick you back to the start but there are rare. Someone
else might/might not be able to confirm my suspicion that a "faulty
red button" could be limited to a single service.
Note that the red button doesn't work on channels which have been
added to "Other Channels".

They (ITV 1) are all 103 on a Dodgybox when they are the "home"
channel in the UK.

Three actually:-
11053 H 22000 5/6
Tyne Tees North (FTA)
Tyne Tess South (Encrypted)
I suspect this fault is all tied up with ITV moving some of their regions to
wider beams, and encrypting them as FTV (See other threads). ITV/Sky may well
have buggered up the interactive mapping codes ?

Ok guys, forgive my ignorance, ITV south that covers the Darlington area,
however I have tried again this morning before doing a full switch off again
but it seems to work now, obviously things have been linked up again. Cheers
all.
