He last posted on the 31st May 2007. There have been a few "Where's
Jomtien" threads since then. My guess is either dead or in prison.

I don't know about that.
What I would say is that for someone who posted so many words
in this Newsgroup he didn't give much away about himself did he?
He appeared to work in the consumer electronics retail industry,
That's about as far as I got.
That said, the Group was better with his contributions.
Who does the FAQs now then?
I cant find one that mentions HD; have I answered my own Q?

Keeping an FAQ up-to-date (and more importantly useful) is a huge
task! Someone needs to grab the old one, shake it about a bit, UPDATE
IT and then keep it updated.

Most FAQs are actually beyond any one person, as soon as they become
the 'property' of a single person they almost certainly become
compromised - which brings us back to "Jomtien"...

I did make an effort to make it maintainable, but it failed on lack of
contributions. Hint... HINT.

Jomtien probably just got fed up doing the FAQ. He didn' get much thanks
for it.

I think he was getting less thanks due to his arrogance, also google
was probably being been a tad slow...

I think you are right, which is a little unfair as I am sure I am just one
of many who benefited from his contributions to this group. So lets put that
right...

Probably in a ditch somewhere or face down in a river.
