Loss of signal - Anything to worry about?
Yesterday, whilst watching a program that was still being recorded, I was
informed of a loss of signal. Signal Test suggested that one of the 2 input
was dead (it's a Sky+ installation). Well, not exactly dead, as the Signal
Strength was OK, but the Signal Quality bar was on 0%.

I swapped the the inputs at the back, and same result (just swapped). Booted
the box, still nothing.

I thought I would try another boot, just before calling Sky, and this time
everyt9ing was back to normal, although the signal strangth is possibly
slightly weaker that it was a few days ago (I am not sure though).

Just thought that it was a bit strange - is there anything to warry about?

had the same thing for a while now, posters on here said it was alignment,
weather, I dont think it was either because in fine weather the box still
gives a bad signal notice on BBC1 last week, ITV4 this week,
if you put two separate stations on record, and then check your signals you
will probably find they are both normal.
Ive had sky+ for about 4 years now and never had the problems I have had for
the last 2 months with signals etc.
Have you by anybchance had a phone call off SKY asking you about insurance?
