It's A Bit Quiet...
...in here, so, what are folks planning for this year...? I'd like to
finish the half built PML Endeavor I've got and fly it a couple of times.

Cheers,

No plans, as usual. Only built one rocket last year, and it wasn't a
particularly successful flight. If I can equal that this year, but
with a good flight I'll be happy!

Well - I've filled in a UKRA membership form (I wasn't even a member
last year), I've got a year's membership voucher I won at K-Lob so
I've no excuse. If nothing else I'm sure I've got some servicable
models and a reasonable stash of motors, so my only particular plan is
to burn a load of BP. I flew nothing last year. What's the latest on
AP/licenses?

Aside from that, I'm going to try to take better photos, which at EARS
means being on the far side of the HPR pads. Might invest in a
teleconverter now I've got a really decent telephoto lens. Perhaps
I'll prep a load of models the night before or upon arrival so I can
do both. I've now got Adobe lightroom and a big external HDD so
editing hundreds of photos should be considerably less of a chore than
before.

Reminds me, I think my website's borked, really ought to fix that.
I'll probably dump photos on Flickr in future though as it's quick and
easy.

Cheers,

Niall

It's looking not half bad; watch the UKRA site for updates ;)

No one died, and we all cheered - can't really say that was unsuccessful ;o)

2 stage HPR - something I have never actually done! Build the 7 or 8 kits I
have kicking around. Maybe move all the L3 bits around a bit. SSDY ;)

I still took home more pieces than I brought.

Re: It's A Bit Quiet...
Ah- that'd be telling. I like to have at least one surprise rocket at IRW
which people thought I was actually using to carry cheesy or beery
comestibles. Or chocs.
But that paper model of the Empire State Building out of the Guardian looks
quite rockety.
I also wonder how F36s cluster.

Niall, I've not received your paperwork as yet, have you sent it and
if so was it to the new address?

Also yes we have had some good news on the AP/license front, but we
are still confirming all the details with the HSE before we update the
legal section of the UKRA site.

I sent it on Friday to the address given on the UKRA site so it should
be with you soon.
