Of possible interest?
Came across this - http://www.farnell.com/datasheets/96754.pdf
3-axis accelerometer eval board, with 2.4GHz wireless interface. 65
quid.
Probably a bit on the short-range and low-g side for rocketry, but I
think it looks pretty neat all the same.
