Hi,

I have been looking for a '4-axis stepper/servo controller hardware
module' that could be programmed for use in a robot project. Google
seach results in lot of links and it is difficult to identify what
would suit my requirement.

Could anybody on this forum point me to some products or a authentic
web source for this information?

Follow thru' to Animatronics where you'll find the first item is a Serial Servo Driver Board. You can use anyting with a serial connection to drive the board (PC or Microcontroller)

8 channels for £29 or 12 for £37.50 (with speed control too).

There are other alternatives there too.
