My dad has finally got round to dismantling my mother's chairlift, 12 years 
later. We bought it from a very fat woman and it is capable of lifting 30 
stone up a staircase. At its heart is a large electric motor with a control 
board and a gearbox. It's all very impressive stuff, beautifully made, but 
it's going on the tip if no-one wants it. So, it's free if you want to 
collect it.
