Is the news group alive?   
I have just looked at the news group for the first time in a while and found
it to be empty.

There was a fair bit of activity here last year. Here's to a year of more
home automation!

UK Home automation evolved so much that the microcontrollers replaced 
the humans and denied them any involvement in making any stratgic HA 
decisions. Communcation methods such as usenet are thus heavily 
monitored and controlled, and rebel correspondants have been terminated. 
I'm sending this report from an underground bunker with suspicious eyes

Happy New Year.

UK Home Automation is alive and well but it appears that everyone moved
has off Internet News and over to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ukha_d/

Actually the yahoo group has always been much busier than the newsgroup 
but some of prefer NGs so lurk here as well/instead.
