Humax 9200 stange behaviour
My Hummy works perfectly, except that when it is switched to GemsTV (Ch44)
there is an immediate picture, but no sound for 8 -10 seconds. Then the
screen goes blank for a second or two, during which the sound starts. Then
picture and sound come on as normal. No other channels are affected like
this - not even GemsTV on Ch43. This started a week or two ago; before that
the sound and vision on Ch44 came on as normal.

The Hummy still behaves this way even after switching off all mains power
for 30 minutes or so and retuning.

This problem with Ch44 doesn't happen with my old Panasonic TUCT20 or Sagem
IDT 162 - sound and vision appear together.

Any ideas?

Has that channel got some kind of interactive services enabled permanently,
one wonders?

I have the same problem with ITV2 and ITV3 (Ch6&10). I am aware that’s
no help, but at least you know you are not alone!
John
P.S. There’s no programme guide on those channels either – unless you
watch them for quite a while.

Sorry - looks like there is a word missing in your reply.

But no problem with picture or sound quality - I can't remember seeing any
blocking on Ch44.
