Oh well that's that then. So much for a public service.  I'd have thought 
drm was a bit of a sledgehammer to use just to keep listen/watch again dates 
in the terms of the contracts etc, so I'm thinking that money might be 
involved at some stage for some services.

Oh don't get me started about D.R.M.
My old Sony Ericsson phone would not allow
me to use an MP3 as a ringtone unless I spoofed
the file headers and made it look legitimate.
Only the Vodaphone branded phone had been
"got at" in this way.
My new Sony Ericsson, also on Vodafone has non
of this nonsense so what was that about?

I've also seen DRM compliance being advertised as a feature
rather than a restriction on how you can use the device.
