Slightly off-topic: filming permissions
Just an anecdote about film units - and today.

Due to resident's parking restrictions I have to move one car between
11.30 and 12.30 when not working, so a good time to take the dog out if no
shopping needed. I usually drive to Tooting Common and park up in the Lido
car park - it's always pretty quiet mid week. The other free car park on
the common is solid due to being closer to the tube, so used by commuters.
Who can't be arsed walking the extra few hundred yards.

And today it was a film unit base. Not only the whole car park but the
approach road was solid with a cone man stopping anyone going in. So had
to go to Streatham Common instead. Where the dog enjoyed the woods. Even
ignored the flasher. ;-)

My old dog was trained to go for sausages.
