Bleedin iPLayer...
... I've been sitting on a couple of concerts for a couple of weeks.
Just got around to watching them - when I tried they lost a week of the
2 weeks left to run, and wouldn't play anyway.

GRRR!

Sometimes the "time left" displayed on the website isn't correct -
when you click on the link, you sometimes find that things "currently"
offered for download have in fact already expired. They may have fixed
this recently, but I saw it quite often earlier on.

AFAIK if your "right" to play something has expired, there's nothing
you can do about it. It sounds like this shouldn't have happened here
- are the files still on your HDD? Can you open them directly in a
media player?

btw, though the actual files have bizarre names, if you enable the
"title" and "comments" columns in windows explorer, you'll find that
they are usefully tagged.

Cheers,
David.
