Ch 4 and C Big Brother
Ok I'm a sad guy I watch BB, please do not make fun of me.

Last week the new series started on Ch4 and halfway through the entances it
moved to E4 and seems to be on there from then on, with its limited viewers.
The question what are CH4 up to?
Have they given up on BB because of the PC brigade, public not watching,
lack of advertisers, or being very clever?

PS
They seem to have put a matched bunch of people in this time.

Rather OT for a technical group since most tekkies have more taste than to
watch BB.

Big Brother?
Isn't that the show that has hours of monochrome static
shots of people sleeping in a communal bedroom?
You want that on a mainstream channel?

Quite. It's marginally less interesting than watching a BBC RBS test
from Crystal Palace.

No, I think you'll find it's a *lot* less interesting than watching the
RBS tests, thank you Mark. ;-)

Now there's a thought: IIRC, don't they broadcast bird song to drown out
stuff their lawyers don't want transmitted? At a guess, the pictures
rarely convey anything interesting during that period either (unless its
viewers can lip-read), so why not flash up a test pattern instead?

That would be a REAL public service, and I'd 'watch' if they did that...

Simonm.

No they not doing the coninuous feed on E4 , they have the hour long evening
highlights that CH4 had before, this now tramsmitted each evening on E4.
Hence my OP are they up to something clever?
Or just that BB is a failure now because of PC brigade, and thus off the
main 5 stations.
