After a defeat at Sheffield, the Flames were looking for better things
at home against the Bracknell Bees but fell short for the second
consecutive night with a 5-2 loss.  The Bees opened a 2-0 lead before
the game was 20 minutes old.  Lukas Smital netted on a powerplay at
17:03 then proceeded to repeat the feat during a 5 on 3 man advantage
with just 6 seconds on the period clock to take a 2 goal cushion to
the break.  The ice was barely dry in the second session when Matt
Beveridge extended the Bees lead to 3 at 20:29.  Just under 8 minutes
later the Bees made it a 4 goal edge when Ryan Aldridge found the
goal.  At 38:57 the Flames finally hit the scorseheet when Paul Dixon
converted a powerplay opportunity to pull the Flames to within 3
before the end of the second stanza.  At 51:27, the Flames scored
their second of the night, an unassisted effort by Neil Liddiard to
make it 4-2, but the Bees replied just 29 seconds later with the final
goal of the night, taking a 5-2 win and both league points.
