Terry Miles Leaves Jets To Join Flames
http://www.guildfordflames.com/terry_miles_leaves_jets_to_join_flames

The Guildford Flames Ice Hockey club have added Terry Miles to the
roster. The 5'7", 175lb forward joins the Surrey side after
developing through the Slough junior programme and spending 5 senior
seasons with the Jets, including captaining the Berkshire outfit last
season when they finished 3rd in the league table and advanced to the
Premier Cup semi finals. Miles jumped from the junior ranks to the
senior side in 2002-2003, and has 200+ English Premier League games
under his belt. Known mostly for his consistent play away from the
puck, he has recently gained attention as a solid two way player with
18 goals and more than 40 points in just over 90 matches from 2005 to
2007. The 23 year old recruit also boasts international
representation thanks to an appearance with Team GB during the under
18 world championships in 2002 where he iced in 5 games with the club,
helping the national side to the Bronze medal.

Paul Dixon, Flames Head Coach, is pleased with the move:

"With the addition of Terry we have made an important step in
improving the depth of our roster and helping to ensure we ice 3
strong forward lines on a night in and night out basis. He is a very
reliable, consistent player and has a great work ethic. He works both
ends of the ice with a gritty demeanour and is willing to do whatever
he is asked to help the club win. Those qualities, in addition to his
demonstrated leadership skills, make him a very attractive signing for
the club. We are very pleased that he has made the difficult decision
to join us by leaving a place that has been his home for his entire
career."
