Friday Ascot early views
Quiet night so I`ve been at Bible Study fairly early LOL

2.30

CUIS SHAIRE has the form, won a group 3 at NAAS over 6f but his price is way
too short for me in a race with a lot of unexposed types,so how about ART
PRINCESS ew? ran well behind DANEHILL DESTINY and then won well finishing
strongly over 5f at circa 12-1 will do for me.

3.05

I must admit to being a fan of BROZE CANNON who has improved no end this
season, sidestepped the Derby to wait for this!
CONDUIT seems to be the danger and likely fav,a 6l winner at Epsom over 10f
and did not look like stoping.

3.45

LUSH LASHES did not stay in the Oaks and is dropped back here and I fully
expect to see her return to winning ways.INFALLIBLE could not cope with
NATAGORA @ HQs in the Gns and may find this a little easier flws Terrific
race in prospect with all having a chance imo

4.20

Do not think the H`capper has got to BUSHMAN yet and could go in for the 3rd
time, may be followed home by the game and consistent WATAMU.

4.55

UNLEASHED could be the surprise package here, has run on well with each race
and seems to be an attractive win and place opportunity to me.

5.30

ZAAHID won the VICTORIA CUP well enough to have a more than decent chance
here if he can stay out of trouble in this 147 runner field ;-)DOC OF THE
DAY could be seen as a winner without a Pen after his run the other
day?IGAZU FALLS merits close attention having been running in top class
races etc in his form.
I would have thrown ATLANTIC STORY as having achance but then I saw the
Jokey booking :-(

whatya tink then?

2:30 Albany Stakes

THe Albany looks set for the very short-priced CUIS GHAIRE who has been
punted early this morning but I'm taking a chance on Barry Hill ART
PRINCESS each-way at 14/1. She ran a fair 2nd to Danehill Destiny on her
first run before beating 4 subsequent winners at Nottingham last time.
She holds an entry in th GP1 Moyglare so is obviously held in high
regard. April Pride is interesting up in trip.

3:05 King Edward Stakes

On Moiquen's earlier 2nd to Famous Name and defeat of Hebridean in the
Ballysax stakes he looks overpriced but he flopped last time in the
Derrinstown and there are stamina doubts.
Hebridean on the other hand has gone on to improve and he can go well.
Conduit has been supplemented for this which could be significant.
Bronze Cannon skipped the Derby and that could prove significant but I'm
going to plump for the value and go with Michael Jarvis' ALL THE ACES at
around 7/1 each-way. This is a trappy race so I think that is the right
call. This one holds an entry in the Kign George and is rated close to
Bronze Cannon on a line through Doctor Fremantle but has at least
already proven effective at this 12f trip.

3:45 Coronation Stakes

I'm with the french filly MODERN LOOK each-way here at a tasty 8/1. She
got close to Natagora first time out before running 4th to the top-class
Zarkava in the French 1000. She scored well in a Group2 last time and
looks to be progressive. Bred to be a top-miler by Zamindar out of a
Warning mare she looks the value call. Spacious looks the main danger
following her 2nd but I would be willing to give INFALLIBLE one more
try, if she can be settled and brought late her turn of foot could seal
the deal and she is at least worth a cover bet. Interesting that Lush
Lashes is dropped back markedly in trip.

4:20 Wolferton Handicap

One of my rules is to back the Abdullah runner in these so first on my
list is MANY VOLUMES for the Cecil yard. He has been knocking on the
door in a few conditions races recently and is of interest stepped back
in handicap company with conditions that will suit. 16/1 is worth an
each-way.
SUPASEUS at 14/1 is another that catches my eye. 4th in the Hunt Cup
last year after racing over the far side, he showed his best form since
then when stepped up to an extended 10f at York last time and narrowly
failing to reel in Folk Opera. Conditions should be ideal for him here.
My final selection is HALICARNASSUS at a tasty 20/1 each-way. He won two
Group 3's last term and has not been disgraced against Phoenix Tower and
Duke Of Marmalade last two runs. THe Cape Cross colt will love the fast
ground and drop in class and the first-time visor could b e the icing on
the cake.

4:55 Queen's Vase

Mark Johnston does really well with his stayers so I'm going with
CAPTAIN WEBB here. Shirley Heights is always a decent influence for
stamina, particularly on the dam side and given the trainers excellent
record with stayers I see him as the one to beat here as he has arguably
the best form with a win in the Glasgow Stakes last time.
FOr an each-way bet you could do worse than the Jarvis runner AMERIGO
who has looked like he will relish this trip after showing progressive
form when stepped up in trip the last 2 runs on fast ground. Has a bit
to find class-wise but this does not look the strongest renewal of the
QUeens Vase and this giant of a horse has scope for improvement.

5:30 Buckingham Palace Handicap

Starting with the low numbers until we hit a top trainer and that gives
us ZAAHID who looks to have a lot in his favour here. I don't often back
short-priced runners in these races but he was seriously impressive last
time and has conditions in his favour so 11/2 is fair enough for a win
bet I think.
Another rule I have is to back a Gosden runner. Although I don't like
the draw of 29, there is enough pace far side and they were not too far
away yesterday so I'll take a chance at 25/1 on RACER FOREVER who is a
bit in and out but has been largely racing in listed and group class so
has to be in with a shout here today.
BINANTI won this last year after finishing 2nd in the same Sandown race
he did last time. He has a decent draw and is only a few pounds higher.
Sure to have been trained to peak today he looks overpriced at 16/1.
Giganticus is another worth noting drawn high as is Docofthebay who ran
so well for me 2 days ago but is 4 or 5 points shorter now.

Undoubtedly a very good filly, off her legs early on, but the breeding kicked
in and she went away to win quite easilt imho
