Well late today lol
York
2.50 NAVAL REVIEW didn`t beat much when winning debut maidenbut, being 1 lb
out of the h`cap would not have to improve a lot to win here imo
3.25 TRANQUIL TIGER looked a very useful tool when winning over 1m 5f
beating REGAL FLUSH 10 L
3.55 Like RIVER FALCON and HOWS SHE CUTTIN but ISHETOO is a most consistent
animal and likes a bit of cut in the ground.
5.05 DAYLAMI DREAMS ran a cracking race at Newcastle and may make amends
here...BUKIT TINGGI canot be dis missed lightly even with a welter burden
for a 4-y-o
Haydock
2.10 I thought SWISS FRANC was going to the top but went wrong, would not
have to be a lot right to take this on 2-y-0 form imo
3.15 Another decent race on what is a craking card, old stager BECKERMET may
well be the answer to this trickiy race
4.55 PATKAI ran so well behind ALLIED POWERS he should atke this albeit at a
very short price.
Good luck and remember enjoy it

Good luck mate - looked at today's TV cards through a hangover haze so
don't know what to expect...
Haydock
=======
2:10 SWISS FRANC looks standout to me, top-rated and looks the part on
breeding. Prohibit the likely danger with Fat Boy.
2:45 DARK MISSILE put up a good run last time and can take this en-route
to a crack at the Wokingham. Francesca D'Gorgio and Crystany can give
him most to do.
3:15 Major Cadeaux should take this but I'm going to chance an each-way
on BECKERMET.
Goodwood
========
2:30 I don't have much between Conquest and VIKING SPIRIT but going for
the latter who is bred to appreciate cut a little more.
3:00 TEARS OF A CLOWN looks the type on breeding by Galileo out of a
Shirley Heights mare. Akaram is also well-bred and could go well.
3:30 I can't split ORDNANCE ROW and CALDRA here so will probably just
split stakes on them. Hannon is in form but Ordnance Row has to give
weight in soft ground so Caldra could spring a surprise and has proven
form round here.
York
====
3:25 Can't oppose TRANQUIL TIGER after his romp last time. Tungsten
Strike and Regal Flush I have as next best.
3:55 I like MACHINIST for this, has a lot going for him today. A danger
at a price could be Everymanforhimself.
Finally, 2 at Newbury tonight where conditions are likely to be the key.
They are likely to be good e/w prices and both should have their optimum
conditions.
7:25 Moody Tunes
8:30 Flame Creek
Good Luck all

Am only focusing on a small number today, not least CARNABY HAGGERSTON
(3.50 Haydock), which is bred to sprint, and from a stable that only
tends to unleash its rookies when they're ready to oblige. Current
7.6 on Betfair is a steal IMHO.
FAT BOY (2.10 Haydock) should oblige here, given the going and terms.
There's probably still some improvement in the tank, whilst Tajdeef
and Swiss Franc have for some time threatened to be top class animals,
without quite delivering.
In the 2.50 York, FLOWING CAPE got an appalling run last time out,
sufficiently so that it could quite reasonably be discounted. His
Doncaster and Newbury runs of last year put him well in here, with the
current price appearing decent value. Reg Hollinshead is beginning to
show signs of an impending purple patch as well, so this one is well
worth monitoring.
Whatever your selections, have a good one guys!

2.15 I like FAT BOY of Chapple-Hyam's here .
2.45 The Irish raider of Tommy Stack's AINE is a real dark horse here, very
progressive & could well be up to this today.
3.15 APPALACHIAN TRAIL from the Perratt yard won in real fine style from
last to first & was very impressive.
Good luck all.
Cheers ears

It was hilarious listening to Johnny Francome insisting on how he
wouldn't back it even if it were 4/1 after sweating up!
When he subsequently romped home, his squirming was palpable! He then
sought to qualify his statement with: "the number of times a horse has
won after that performance in the paddock can be counted on the
fingers of one hand."
LMAO.

We could have been neighbours as we looked at a couple flats there before
we decided on cheaper Eastbourne.

Anywhere is cheaper than this place Derek,we were lucky bought very cheaply
and watched the value soar, enough to weather any drop in value thank God :-)
but for normal house prices? forget it. We dont see many 1st timers or even
2nders down heere. But it is fine where we live, its like a village where
ecveryone knows whats what etc.Very cosmopolitan, like the city itself.Dont
start me off on beer prices! it would make our Northern colleages choke if
they knew lol

The Village atmosphere of Kemp Town was quite appealing, quite central and
on the bus route for Race Hill:-) And handy for the hospital if we have a
big win that causes a heart attack.

Good choice Derek. The economies are twofold: property prices are
more realistic, and you don't have the expense of needing to reinforce
the seats of your trousers.

The recent Brighton Fringe Festival had a daily tour of Famous Brighton Back
