some saturday ideas

Fantastic days racing all over the place, not least the Curragh Irish 2k...

Beverly

1.55 On breeding,by BERTOLINI and having a smart trainer Mark Johnson
NORTHUMBERLAND is the pick.

2.55 LOOK BUSY has the form and get the sex allowance which puts her
well in here imo

Haydock

2.35 Despite the likely Fav FOLK OPERS who won lto, and having to give
weight away ANNA PAVLOVA is a high class act and has won 1st time out
before, and is a most consistent high level performer and gets the vote.

3.05 Not an obvious choice in this terrific Class 2 event, but AUSTINTATIOUS
is coming along nicely imho in reciept of up to 10 lbs plus holding an ASCOT
Group entry and a double figure price is my idea of a value bet ..

3.35 One of my favourite races The Temple Stakes.Noseda is in fine form and
FLEETIN SPIRIT looks good to me,beat the colts last season and finished the
season running 2nd to NATAGORA!!

4.10 I`m sticking with CAPE VALE who will love this trip after staying on in
all his shorter distance races so far, just failing to get up lto..

Newmarket

3.20 OPUS MAXIMUS of Mark Jonsons is the bottom weight here, won lto and
although double figure odds is a decent ew over this 6f

4.35 BORN TO BOOGIE didn`t quite get home lto over 10f but had run well 1st
time out.Down in trip and could be another part of `enrys resurgence ...

When I`ve had a look at the Curragh ill post agin..

luck to all,and enjoy :-)

Re: some saturday ideas
Cracking days racing, over the water, the 'smart' pundits & money seem to be
with the Guineas winner, but I like NEW APPROACH to improve again/more &
turn it around with Henry.
Myboycharlie is a class animal, slight concern about the ground but can win
this, too short to me to get involved given the fast ground concerns though.
BLAS CEOIL won in fine style last time & I'm sticking with this one to score
again, this animal looks very classy on that run.
At Haydock, with David on FLEETING SPIRIT looks a speed machine, travels
beautifully & the 2nd to Natagora & the field at least 4 lengths behind
speaks for itself.
At HQ I like Cecil's TIMETABLE & earlier the two at the head of the market
look have strong claims, cant split them & I'll be dutching LUCK MONEY &
STIMULATION.
Good luck all.
Cheers ears Aid.

Am opposing you here, opting very strongly for RESURGE, who's current
price is the value bet of the day IMHO. He improved exponentially in
his previous run, looks very well bred and set to win races far better
than this one.

Re: some saturday ideas
I can see the argument there Wizard, good luck.
Blas Ceoil NR & in the 2.50 at Newmarket Luck Money ran no sort of race &
Stimulation just caught close home by a (much) better horse.
Cheers ears
Aid.

With you on Resurge Wizard. I'm a little gutted having had my e/w's on
Intrepid Jack, Commander Cave and now Abraham Lincoln all just touched
off at decent odds. I just hope it's not a sign of things to come. I
just hope either Victorian Bounty or Judd Street can give me a big win
and at least manage to get their heads in front but the way Godolphin
are running into form you would have to like Dandy Man in the Temple.

Great perfortmance indeed,I`m more certain he`ll stay than ever with his
defeat of NA..however the performance of the day has to be FLEETING
SPIRIT.Got left a bit at the start and was at the back for most of the
race, switched 2 out to the middle just behing Dandy Man,then whoosh it was
all over as FLEETING SPIRIT not only won unextended by a distance but made
some good animals look very ordinary, and broke the Course record to boot. The
one to keep on yoiur side this season.Being second to NATAGORA was the form
:-)))
Now if CAPE VALE and BORN TO BOOGIE can alsooblige it`ll be a really nice
day ;-)

Re: some saturday ideas
Good call with Resurge Wiz, that was a hot Maiden, I'll take the first four
home out of that race for the future.
I agree with David about Fleeting Spirit & looked a G1 horse today.
Cheers ears
Aid.

Took 5.5 at Lunchtime - was chuffed with that!

I wholly agree about the race. The first four will all go on to be
decent. :)
